BUENAVISTA GOLF:
Seve’s Golf Course in Tenerife
Location
The Golf Course of Buenavista del Norte is situated on the extreme north-western corner of the island of Tenerife, in the area known as Daute - Isla Baja. This part of the island is characterized by a mild climate, without violent changes between the different seasons of the year. Teno features some of the most emblematic spots and landscapes of Tenerife, such as the hamlet of Masca. The golf course is surrounded by the Teno mountain range, a natural protected space and the Atlantic Ocean.
The 18 hole, 72-par-course, has a length of 6.150 meters. It pivots on the Clubhouse, with its impressive view from all the terraces to the course and the backdrop of the Ocean. The course has 6 holes of par 3, par 4 and par 5. On the outward nine, the most demanding holes are the par fours while on the inward route, the greatest precision is required by the par threes and above all at the 15th and 17th, as they are next to the sea. Seve: “I have designed a course where most of the holes offer different alternatives to their denouement. These different options ask for very implying strokes”. Another water zone is next to the antique "Hacienda de la Fuente" close to hole number 1, following its way to hole 17 where it flows into the sea. Greens have been designed with great respect to the natural ground and indigenous species have been planted in the new areas. The greens of 5 holes are close to the small cliffs of the rocky coastline, where the waves break creating a remarkably beautiful sight. At some holes one seems to hit the ball right into the Ocean. The central water area located between the holes number 9 and 18, just in front of the clubhouse, is united by a waterfall which adds a special attraction.
Access by the road joining Icod de Los Vinos and Buenavista del Norte at a distance of about 15 kilometers from the latter. Icod de Los Vinos is reached by the main north road (about 30 kilometers from Puerto de la Cruz and approximately 60 kilometers from Santa Cruz de Tenerife).

We are brothers and live in Tenerife since 1993. We are two CMAS Instructors*** as well as PADI-Instructors and we feel at home in the atlantic waters! We know everything about Tenerife above and below the water and will be able to assist you in spending a nice and adventurous vacation. Our first aim is to show you our nice volcanic divingsites and maybe to teach you some new skills. We never stop learning, or do we?
Our divingsites are thrilling! Many dives lead through caves and mazes of lava. Often we experience currents on the surface. But our crew and ourselves will accompany you during all dives. An easy dive to start with from shore is obligatory. After a detailed briefing in boatdiving you may then enjoy the walls and the big fishes on a boatdive.
Since we are offering courses for beginners we also have some super easy divingsites for beginners and those divers who don't feel experienced enough yet. We offer the complete course programme from PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). For everybody who is willing to improve his scuba skills we recommend the following specialties: Navigation, Deep Diver, Cavern Diver and Night Diver.
During all activities here at our centre, courses or diving excursions our primary directive is SAFETY! In addition to that you and ourselves want to have fun and us and our crew will make sure that you get to see as much as possible and that you enjoy yourself.
